SAWTELLE MEDICAL BUILDING, WEST LOS ANGELES, CA.

The boundary between landscape and architecture has been an area of interest for many of our projects.  The Sawtelle Medical Offices were designed with a multi-level landscape with trees on the façade. The glass façade featured a printed ceramic fritted surface with an organic super graphic.  The selection of tree species was an indication that the original user of the building was to be a fertility clinic. The project was another unfortunate victim of the 2008 financial collapse.
