MELROSE-WILCOX LIVE WORK LOFTS, HOLLYWOOD, CA.

Melrose Avenue is the northerly boundary of the Hancock Park residential area of Los Angeles.  It is a historic and affluent residential area, and enjoys the benefits of low density and very mature trees and landscaping.  North of Melrose Avenue the city becomes mixed use, with modest single family and multifamily residences and commercial uses. Our Melrose Wilcox project was located on the Hancock Park side of Melrose adjacent to the LA Tennis Club. The historic tennis club continues to be a center of the Los Angeles tennis community. The Tennis Club enjoys a historic view from its main terraces, looking across the courts to the hills beyond, including the Hollywood Sign.  Our design insured that this view would not be compromised. The project included 20 multi-level live work lofts that shared a common central garden court, and below grade private parking.
