A large body of our work consists of single family houses on very challenging sites.  The Coy Drive house is situated on the steepest site we have worked on.  When visiting the site for the first time, I was unable to walk on it as it was, literally too steep to maintain a foothold.  Steep housing is a unique specialty of ours.  The homes we have produced on steep sites do not carry a feeling of difficulty or strain on the site.  They are designed to understand the qualities of the site and exploit its specific virtues, whether view or orientation or the unique planning organizations which are an outcome of this typology.

Coy Drive is an elongated, two story home, with a lap pool along its entire length, a design that responds uniquely to its steep site.
